Brin Finnigan

Brin Finnigan, Owner

Brin Finnigan has called the North Fork Valley home for the past 16 years. Thirteen years ago, he founded North Fork Carpentry with a vision to combine craftsmanship, sustainability, and community values. With a degree in Environmental Studies, Brin brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to his work—balancing strong design instincts with hands-on execution.

Over the years, Brin has built a reputation for his keen eye for design, his dedication to quality, and his ability to assemble skilled, cohesive teams. He believes strongly in keeping carpentry work in-house to maintain high standards and create strong working relationships with both clients and subcontractors.

Nine years ago, Brin expanded his operation with the addition of Driftwood Mill, a sawmill that allows him to control the quality and sourcing of the materials used in his projects. With a background that includes work as a painter, metalworker, drywall installer, and carpenter, Brin has worn many hats in the trades—but wood has always been his preferred medium.

Carpentry Team

Building an in-house carpentry team was a conscious decision to maintain full control over both the process and the final result. Rather than relying on third-party crews, we’ve built a team of skilled craftsmen who are part of our family—people we know, trust, and collaborate with every day. This approach ensures consistent quality, streamlines the process, and allows for on-the-spot adjustments to keep every project on track.

All of our carpenters are local and deeply rooted in the community, which brings an added sense of pride and care to every project. We’re a tight, cohesive group, continually raising our value as a team by learning from one another and sharing our skills. More than just workers, we are craftsmen who prioritize quality in everything we do, knowing that the work we create reflects not only on us but also on the community we call home. This shared commitment drives us to deliver thoughtful, lasting results that stand as a testament to both our craft and the place we live.
